DAY FOUR

1 - Personal and Community Growth

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:8-11

  • Pray that we can be a community who love each other deeply.

  • Pray that you would seek out opportunities to offer hospitality and use your gifts to serve one another, with God’s strength.

  • Ask the holy spirit to give you goldy words to use to build up the body.

  • Pray specifically for anything that the holy spirit is placing upon your heart now.

2 - Personal Evangelism

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

  • Pray for 3 people in your life who don’t yet know Jesus (if you can’t think of 3 people ask that God would place people on your heart, and/or that he would bring people into your life that you can be praying for)

  • Thank God for the immeasurable sacrifice he paid for you, while you were still his enemy.

  • Ask that the thankfulness in your heart would overflow into every area of your life, so that the people you are praying for can’t help but see Jesus when they look at you.

3 - Resourcing the Mission

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Ephesians 4:16

  • Pray that we would be a church, who sees the value of everyone’s contribution to the ministry

  • Pray that we would all take up our part in the body, so that the whole can function well, and love and support one another in the mission.

4 - Revival in the Shire

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:13-16

  • Pray that we would be salt and light in the world to those around us.

  • Pray that God would show you ways that you can be salt and light today, and that he would give you the courage to do it!

  • Pray for Mini Movers - for the many mums, dads and grandparents who are coming along, seeking connection and community.  Pray that the Establish community can provide that connection and relationship and ultimately connect them to Jesus.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

John 15:7
