We believe that Christianity is not about stain glassed windows but relationship with Jesus. Our gatherings celebrate that fact. It is a time where we connect with Jesus and each other as we celebrate his story in our world and in our lives. Our whole lives should celebrate this, but we believe that Christians gathering together regularly is essential to living the life we were made for.
Each week we expect to connect with you, no matter where you are in your journey with Jesus. Because of this our gatherings are relaxed and accessible, tackling the big questions in life through the Bible as we hear how it relates to our world, and more importantly our lives.
What do our gatherings look like?
On a normal week we sing a couple of songs at the start that celebrate the story of Jesus in our world. We celebrate what God has been doing in the life of our church and have time to engage with each other a little. Then we send our kids out to Establish Kids, read the Bible and have a sermon, which is teaching from the Bible in a way that seeks to connect with our lives. After that we sing a couple of songs again.
After our gathering is also an important part of our time together as we connect with each other over some healthy food and share our stories, meet new people, and have good times sharing our lives together.
When do we gather?
Services meet every Sunday 4:00pm. Once a month we share in community dinner together, all are welcome.

We believe that church is more than a Sunday. That the life we were made for was to live out the gospel together in community around Jesus. Our Gospel Communities (GC's) are how we do this and they are the heart of our life together. This is where you truly belong. This is where you will be loved and cared for, and, this is where you will grow together as you share lives and explore what the Bible has to say about our lives where the rubber hits the road.
Our Gospel Communities meet weekly throughout the Sutherland Shire. To join a Gospel Community, click the link at the bottom of the page.
Each week, our Gospel Communities seek to do these three things:

Establish the life they were made for
There are lots of great things we can Establish for our kids, but we believe that the most important thing is that they establish the life they were made for. We believe that the best way for our kids to explore what it means to have life in Jesus is to do that in a safe, relaxed and fun environment.
What does this look like?
We value kids and families, so our kids join with us in our main gathering for around 10-15 minutes before we provide an opportunity for them to continue church together at an age appropriate level.
We have a team of 8 leaders who have all undergone child protection training and have a working with children check. We believe that kids need a safe, relaxed and fun environment where they can explore what it means to have life in Jesus, and our leaders are passionate about providing that each week.
We know that kids get hungry and we want to give you a break from cooking, and so we provide your kids with a healthy supper during Establish kids, so that you are able to relax knowing their needs are being met. This means we have a zero junk food policy and strive to provide nutritious food each week. We understand that some kids have allergies and intolerances to certain foods, so if this is your experience then please chat to us and we will do our best to cater for your child’s needs.
If you have a baby we have a cry room where you can hear and see the gathering whilst caring for your little ones. The kids go out to the kid's room with a few leaders to do church their own way so you are free to join with us in the gathering. We understand occupying children and babies isn't always quiet so please don't feel uncomfortable if yours are noisy.
If you're children are anxious about leaving you and would rather stay in the main gathering we have some welcome packs especially for them, with some quiet activities to keep them occupied so you can enjoy your time with us.
One of the things we want for you as a parent, is to truly connect with other people, so you’ll have 10-15 minutes after the end of the service before needing to collect your kids, giving you an opportunity to grab a cuppa and something to eat and meet some new people without little ones needing your attention.
Still got questions?
We hope you feel welcome at Establish church and if you have an questions please feel free to contact Cathra at email@example.com or on 0404 339 329.
Establish Authentic Connection
At Establish Church we believe that the life we are made for is built around healthy authentic relationships. Newish is our way of helping you connect with us and establish authentic community around Jesus.
Newish is all about stories. We love stories! We are interested in your story, and want you to establish authentic connection with others who are new-ish, and of course with us. So, we share the exciting story of Establish Church and help you explore what your next steps might be for you in calling Establish Church home.
What does it look like?
Around some food (usually dinner) we share our stories, get to know each other and we share the exciting story of Establish Church to help you explore what your next steps might be for you in calling Establish Church home. It's an informal time where you can bring your questions, you don’t need anything else, and you don’t even need to know anything about Jesus or the Bible.
When is it on?
Newish happens on the first Monday of every month, at 7:30pm. For more information or if you have any dietary requirements email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Cronulla Life is a community focussed initiative of Establish Church. Through Cronulla Life we want to give to our community by holding events, caring for those on the outskirts and celebrating life in this beautiful place! Most of all we hope that Cronulla might see the love that Jesus has for all people through us as we seek to be a Christ centred, gracious and authentic.
